Για σήμερα είχαν προγραμματιστεί περίπου 300 απογειώσεις και προσγειώσεις με σχεδόν 35.000 επιβάτες. Η απεργία ξεκίνησε περίπου στις 3:30 π.μ. (0230 GMT).
Η κινητοποίηση, που θα ολοκληρωθεί στις 23:59, αφορά τους 6.000 εργαζόμενους στις υπηρεσίες επίγειας εξυπηρέτησης, ασφάλειας αεροπλοΐας και διαχείρισης αποσκευών και πλήττουν περίπου 35.000 επιβάτες, καθώς σήμερα δεν μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί καμία πτήση.
Το συνδικάτο Ver.di κάλεσε το προσωπικό του αεροδρομίου στις επίγειες υπηρεσίες, στην αεροπορική ασφάλεια και στην εταιρεία του αεροδρομίου να απεργήσει στο πλαίσιο της μισθολογικής διαμάχης. Προκήρυξε την 24ωρη στάση εργασίας λόγω της ανεπαρκούς, όπως είπε, προόδου στις τρεις παράλληλες μισθολογικές διαπραγματεύσεις.
«Ελπίζουμε ότι η πίεση είναι αρκετή», δήλωσε ο εκπρόσωπος του συνδικάτου Ενρίκο Ρίμκερ, προσθέτοντας ότι στόχος είναι η κίνηση στις διαπραγματεύσεις.
Είπε ότι η εταιρεία του αεροδρομίου είχε κάνει μια προσφορά συλλογικών διαπραγματεύσεων για 24μηνη θητεία, σύμφωνα με την οποία οι μισθοί θα αυξάνονταν κατά 3% την 1η Ιουνίου και κατά άλλο 2% την 1η Μαΐου του επόμενου έτους.
«Όταν βλέπεις πόσο υψηλός είναι ο πληθωρισμός και σκέφτεσαι ότι οι συνάδελφοι από αυτή την περιοχή δεν είχαν αύξηση μισθού για πολλά, πολλά χρόνια, αυτή η προσφορά είναι φυσικά ένα χαστούκι για τους συναδέλφους», δήλωσε ο Ρίμκερ.
Η γερμανική κυβέρνηση επρόκειτο να δημοσίευσε σήμερα την ετήσια οικονομική της έκθεση. Μια πηγή δήλωσε στο Reuters ότι ένα προσχέδιο της έκθεσης αυτής προβλέπει πληθωρισμό 6% φέτος και 2,8% για το 2024.
